The NH Board of Nursing approved Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program consists of 46 hours of classroom theory/lab and 60 hours of clinical for a total of 106 hours of coursework. The theory portion is delivered at the college. The clinical is arranged at a local healthcare facility. After successfully completing the LNA program, all students must register for the state competency written and clinical exam and complete criminal background checks/fingerprinting as part of the process to obtain their LNA license with the State of New Hampshire. This course is not part of the Associate Degree in the Nursing Program.

To participate in the LNA clinical, you are required to document:

  • No findings on a NH Criminal Background check and Bureau of Adult Services (BEAS) and OIG.
  • Physician documentation of the following immunizations:
    • Negative two-step tuberculin skin test (TST), followed by annual screening, or negative TB testing with an interferon-gamma release assay (IGRA) within the past year. If TB screening is positive, a health care provider note documenting medical clearance;
    • Completed hepatitis B immunization series (3 shots) with laboratory confirmation of positive antibody (serum titer drawn to show immunity); signed waiver or documentation of non-converter status;
    • Varicella immunity e.g. documentation of two doses of vaccine, laboratory confirmed immunity (IgG); or healthcare provider diagnosis of chickenpox or shingles (herpes zoster);
    • Rubeola immunity e.g. documentation of two doses of vaccine or laboratory confirmed immunity (IgG); (2nd ‘M’ in MMR aka red measles);
    • Rubella immunity e.g. documentation of one dose of vaccine or laboratory confirmed immunity (IgG); (‘R’ of MMR, aka German measles);
    • Mumps immunity e.g. documentation of two doses of vaccine or laboratory confirmed immunity (IgG); (‘M’ of MMR);
    • Pertussis vaccine e.g. documentation of single dose Tdap (Boostrix or Adacel);
    • Influenza vaccine required Oct-May
  • Proof of current health insurance

Program Overview

Paramedics are highly-trained emergency medical technicians qualified to perform various medical treatments and life-saving procedures. If you are thinking about a career in healthcare and emergency medicine, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment, you might want to consider a career as a paramedic.听

As a paramedic, you will have many career pathways and opportunities and can听make a positive impact in someone鈥檚 life and your community every day. Paramedics provide basic and advanced life support level care, administer medications, and rescue victims from vehicle entrapments or hazardous environments.

The Paramedic certificate program at 果冻传媒 was developed in direct response to critical industry needs for highly trained emergency medical professionals in New Hampshire. It is designed for both new Emergency Medical Technicians/Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians and those providers seeking to further their education.

Students can expect small class sizes taught by highly trained, degreed faculty with significant experience in the field, as well as new advanced life support simulators, and full-sized in-class simulator. Please note that some courses have prerequisites, which must be completed before enrolling into upper-level courses and continuing in the program.

For those interested in pursuing a career as both a paramedic and fire professional, 果冻传媒 also offers the ability to combine fire and paramedic education. As fire departments continue to handle an increasing number of medical calls, more and more departments are recruiting firefighter/paramedics. Successful completion of the program will prepare students as entry-level paramedics eligible to sit for the Current National Registry or State EMT/AEMT certification.

The curriculum complies with the New Hampshire Department of Safety Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services and National Emergency Medical Service Education Standards.

For the Fall 2026 cycle, our Early Decision deadline will be February 9, 2026. The regular application deadline is April 1, 2026.

Program Goals

The goal of the Paramedic Program is, 鈥淭o prepare competent entry-level Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Responder levels.鈥*

Minimum EMS certification requirement is current National Registry or State EMT/AEMT certification.

The program is scheduled on a 52-week, four-semester, full-time format. The course offerings will be a combination of didactic lecture, laboratory, hospital and medical environment clinical, and field experiences. Students will attend a minimum number of approximate program hours broken down as follows:

Didactic and Lab: 600 hours
Hospital: 224 hours
Field: 312 hours

The Marine Maintenance certificate is a seven-month program that starts in the fall semester. Classes meet twice a week, and students are encouraged to work part-time in a marine setting while completing the program. 果冻传媒 has established partnerships with more than 30 marinas throughout New England and works closely with students to place them.

Upon successful completion of the program students will earn both a 果冻传媒 in Marine Maintenance from 果冻传媒 and Mercury Maintenance Certification from Mercury Marine.

Additional degree options are available for students who wish to continue studying for an associate degree.听 听

Industry reports show an annual growth of 5% in this trade, with a shrinking supply of qualified technicians.听 Job opportunities are more abundant than ever!听

Job opportunities for marine technicians can be found in coastal and lakeside communities.听 Graduates will find employment as inboard drive, or outboard technicians. Many other opportunities in recreational off-road marketing, such as motorcycle and snowmobile technician, are also available.

Program Overview

A certificate in Computer Information Systems provides students with the opportunity to be well rounded in technology and its effect on business and users.   

Students will get core foundations in many different areas of the computer industry and will learn programming, networking, databases, web design, hardware, software, communication and business skills to prepare them for a position succeeding in any of those areas.  This degree will set students up to transfer to many different schools in New Hampshire and New England, as well as the rest of the country and world should they choose.  This degree provides students with flexibility to work in many capacities within IT for not just IT companies, but also for any business that would have an IT department or need. Students will look to gain employment as Computer Support Specialists, Network and Systems Administrators, Web or Programming Developers, and Information Systems Managers.

Several stackable certificates are available during the course of the program, including PC Applications Specialist, CIS Tech 果冻传媒 and a Programmer 果冻传媒.

Program Overview

A degree in Computer Information Systems provides students with the opportunity to be well rounded in technology and its effect on business and users.听 听Students will get core foundations in many different areas of the computer industry and will learn programming, networking, databases, web design, hardware, software, communication and business skills to prepare them for a position succeeding in any of those areas.听 This degree will set students up to transfer to many different schools in New Hampshire and New England, as well as the rest of the country and world should they choose.听 This degree provides students with flexibility to work in many capacities within IT for not just IT companies, but also for any business that would have an IT department or need. Students will look to gain employment as Computer Support Specialists, Network and Systems Administrators, Web or Programming Developers, and Information Systems Managers.

Several stackable certificates are available during the course of the program, including PC Applications Specialist, CIS Tech 果冻传媒 and a Programmer 果冻传媒.

  • Demonstrate a foundations of Computer Information Systems technical skills, knowledge and a basic understanding of computer applications.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of how people, processes and data work together to become Information Systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a part of an information technology team with effective use of the internet and the ability to disseminate information strategically.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think logically in troubleshooting computer problems and finding possible solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with English Composition and Business fundamentals.
  • Demonstrate the basic understanding of programming languages of various forms and how to construct programming logic.
  • Demonstrate the basic understanding of relational databases.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand operating systems and networking solutions to connect those systems securely.
