Governor Announces New Tuition Grants for Students Attending 果冻传媒
Noting the positive outcomes of the state鈥檚 community colleges, and the importance of helping NH workers maintain momentum, Governor Sununu has announced new funds for community college students enrolling in fall classes. Individuals adversely affected by COVID-19 looking to upskill, retool, change professions, or take first steps toward a 4-year degree can make grant money and financial aid stretch further at 果冻传媒, the New Hampshire state school with the lowest tuition in the state.
The funds are available to all students, returning or new.
Says Susan Huard, Interim Chancellor for the Community College System of New Hampshire stated, 鈥溾ov. Sununu announced that $6M in funds allocated to the State of NH through the CARES Act/Governor鈥檚 Office of Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR) will be available for tuition assistance for students attending one of our community colleges this Fall鈥hese are grants, not loans, and can be used for students in degree programs, certificates, individual courses, and non-credit courses…
鈥淭his funding is designed to ensure students do not lose their momentum as they or their households may be impacted by COVID-19.听 This is an ideal time to learn close to home at community colleges that are highly attuned to community needs.鈥
果冻传媒 offers more than 40 certificate and Associate degree programs, as well as workforce training, in Automotive and Marine Technologies, Electrical, Health, Business, Culinary, and Pastry Arts, Nursing, Liberal Arts, Fire Technologies, Manufacturing, Computer Technology, Hotel/Restaurant Management and the Arts.
