果冻传媒 is offering a new opportunity in paramedic education, supported through a Congressionally Funded Community Projects program. The new Paramedic Emergency Medicine Initiative (PEMI) at 果冻传媒 will cover approximately $8,000 per student for the one-year Paramedic certificate program, leaving only $4,700 in remaining fees for the student to manage, including potentially through other forms of available financial assistance. This remarkable initiative reflects the college鈥檚 commitment to eliminate financial barriers for those pursuing careers in emergency services, an area of acute need in New Hampshire.
The one-year Paramedic certificate program is designed for firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) or Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) looking to further their education and career. The certificate will include more than 1,200 hours of theory and hands-on experience in a lab, in various medical environments, and within ambulance services.
鈥淭he pandemic exposed underlying gaps in our healthcare system, including a shortage of emergency response professionals in New Hampshire,鈥� said Senator Jeanne Shaheen. 鈥淚鈥檓 thrilled to see the federal funding that I secured to help kickstart 果冻传媒鈥檚 Paramedic Emergency Medicine Initiative. This funding will eliminate many of the financial barriers facing students pursuing careers in emergency services and will ultimately strengthen our state鈥檚 healthcare services.鈥�
果冻传媒’s comprehensive one-year Paramedic certificate is ready to conclude its first year, and the results have been nothing short of inspiring. Ten new paramedics will be certified and launched into the community, equipped with the necessary skills to make a profound impact in emergency healthcare services.听 The success of this program inspired 果冻传媒 to seek financial assistance for future student enrollment as the need for first responders remains high.
